Roy is a senior consultant with Almary Green and has been in the Financial Services industry since 1991. He has been an independent adviser for around 10 years providing advice on a wide range of issues to businesses and individuals, and is a pension transfer specialist.

He was one of the very first advisers in the UK to achieve Chartered Financial Planner status; this prestigious award is the highest attainable within the financial services industry.

Roy obtained Resolution accreditation from the Law Society in October 2007 having previously been a pensions and divorce specialist at a national firm of Financial Accountants.

Roy is now also an affiliate member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Alison joined Almary Green as an adviser in June 2003 and has been in Financial Services since 1984 in various guises.  Alison has a portfolio of clients from both the private and corporate sectors, advising on a wide range of protection, pension and investment needs. 

In a male dominated profession she is finding that it is not just female investors who prefer to consult a female adviser and believes that it’s clear that a woman’s inherent caring qualities makes her ideally suited to act as a confidante and counsellor. Alison holds the Diploma in Financial Planning, issued by the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Outside of work Alison enjoys painting and decorating much to her husband’s delight.  For exercise she forces herself to go swimming at least once a week.  She has no children other than four legged furry ones and enjoys reading any novel that involves murder, mystery and pathology.

Robert joined Almary Green in December 2007 as our group scheme specialist. An IFA since 1994, Robert has been involved in Financial Services for over 25 years gaining experience in banking and insurance before moving into advising clients.

In dealing with corporate clients, his main strength is the ability to deal with employees at all levels of a business explaining the finer issues and clarifying the jargon associated with it.

Away from the office, Robert is married with three children. A 19 year old daughter ensures that no day is without some drama while on Sundays, Robert can be found in various windswept parts of Norfolk cheering on his two sons at football.
A lifelong fan and season ticket holder at Norwich City, Robert relishes in his duty in indoctrinating his sons into all things yellow and green.

Heather became a financial adviser sixteen years ago and over the years has gained a wealth of experience assisting clients with their financial planning needs.  She joined Almary Green in 2008 having run her own business, the St Edmunds Mortgage Bureau, since 2003.

Heather has achieved numerous qualifications and is a Chartered Financial Planner and also a Certified Financial Planner^CM professional.  In addition, she holds the prestigious Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA) accreditation. She advises clients on all aspects of their lifetime financial plan and, in particular, specialises in Care Fee Planning and Equity Release.

Heather also has extensive experience in the mortgage and commercial borrowing market.

In her spare time Heather enjoys gardening and wine tasting, although not always at the same time.

Fiona Sharp is a senior financial adviser at Almary Green, having previously co-founded Finance4Women in Cambridge. She has been in the profession since 1995 following a first career as an Air Traffic Controller in the RAF. Her military experience brings clear thinking and calmness to her current role.

Fiona is a Chartered Financial Planner and a Resolution Accredited Independent Financial Adviser. She specialises in all aspects of financial planning for divorce and separation including Collaborative Practice. She has undergone intense and advanced training in this area concentrating on pensions and mortgages in particular, and holds the G60 qualification.

She can act as a Neutral or Implementer in Collaborative cases and also has court experience.

Fiona is married and enjoys formula one, cricket, foreign travel and military history.

Stephanie has been in Financial Services since 1989 and she holds the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate in pensions, investments, taxation and trusts. She has also taken additional pension exams and has undertaken specialist independent training in Pensions and Divorce.

She deals with a number of companies in and around Cambridge, offering employee benefits solutions and more recently, Flexible Benefits.

Her spare time is taken up by her two children and by getting involved in local community projects.

James has been a financial adviser since 1998,  the last 7 years being as an Independent Financial Adviser, with a client portfolio incorporating both personal and corporate clients.

After being a partner in his previous company James chose to join Almary Green due to their emphasis on high level qualifications and wealth of expertise in specific areas of financial planning. Bringing his clients with him he continues to provide truly independent advice. James holds the Certificate in Financial Planning and is currently studying to achieve Chartered status.

He continues to look after the financial requirements of his clients on a wide range of investment, pension and protection needs and is happy to work with any new clients who require assistance in these areas.

Outside of work James enjoys travelling and most sporting activities - with the emphasis currently being on snowboarding and golf after dropping 10 shots from his handicap last season, ultimately aiming for the illusive single figure handicap.

Tony has worked within the Financial Services industry for 30 years, delivering independent advice since 1992 to a range of personal, corporate and trustee clients.

He has acquired a great depth of knowledge, particular areas of expertise include Pre and Post Retirement planning to Individuals, Company Directors and the Self Employed, investment strategies to those seeking growth and/or income from their portfolios, estate planning to those concerned about the impact of Inheritance Tax and Income and Capital Gains Tax mitigation measures.

Tony enjoys communicating complex areas of financial planning in a straight forward, easy to understand way, he is qualified to Diploma level and his next objective is to achieve Chartered status.

Married with two children, Tony lives near Ipswich and enjoys participating and watching most sports and - when not at work - spends time with his family often involving a sporting activity!

Louisa has worked in administration for 20 years, joining Almary Green in August 2008 as Personal Assistant to Carl.

She is married with a young son.
